Gliders in Patrol competition
SEGUI, major98, danpal, CHDEN and jfgombault are proud to invite you to compete in Gliders in Patrol from Tuesday 2nd of April 2013 (training flight), and the six following Tuesday evenings until the 14th of May.
Gliders in Patrol is a very innovative team competition (4 to 7 pilots) where individual performance is NOT rewarded. Only team cohesion is making the difference: the key scoring component is the time gap between team mates.
What the early beta-testers say:
"This is totally different from all previous types of competition."
"The concept is excellent: the team spirit prevails."
Gliders in Patrol (GinP) is powered by CondorSim.fr, Condor Club and DSHelper.

Sky Battle Cup 2013
The CondorSim.fr Team is pleased to announce the third edition of Sky Battle Cup (SBC2013), the main winter competition where 800+ Condor pilots from around the world meet.
35 Races every Thursday and Sunday evenings from 11th November to 24th March. The 20 best results of each pilot will count for the final ranking calculation.
The use of the reliable CondorSim.fr servers, appropriately tuned, together with the Condor-Club Competition Management module, and DSHelper will ensure smooth operations and flights.
Don't miss this unique event!
Andy S. a seasoned SBC pilot tells you why:
The buzz of 6+ nearly all full servers (192 pilots). Seeing your own result against the hundred plus other entrants. Seeing the overall scores week by week and trying to be at least a half decent pilot by keeping within the top one hundred. The amazement of the speed of the top pilots. Wondering how they do it. Trying to avoid the crash, no points. Flying competitive tasks over stunning scenery. Explaining to the wife why I am glued to the PC for hours. Putting the sim on autopilot to dash to refill my glass of red wine. Trying to stay sober until the end of the task. Yes these are the upsides, the fun, oh yes the fun!
Please help us by making a donation! The competition is FREE but we would appreciate donations to pay the servers bills: click here

Hello fellow pilots!
Condor Patch 13 has been released! Its
main goal is to correct nVidia driver related crashes of Condor application,
which were happening on newer cards.
But as we did not want this patch to be just a
simple stability fix, we also added a new free tow plane to the fleet along
with the new and updated localisation language files.
Condor Team is pleased to announce we have joined forces
with Chris Wedgwood (you may better know him as OXO).
He will help us with modeling and has already started to work on a
new plane pack which will contain 5 club class planes (Libelle, ASW-19,
LS-4, Jantar Standard 3 and ASW-15).
Considering his professional background in 3D modeling and his
strong motivation you can expect beautifully modeled planes soon.

PostFrontal introduces the new
scenery West Alpi for Condor by
Bluangel56 and a brand new race created to fully enjoy the
spectacular features and size of it: the WEST ALPI
CUP. The race uses the "open server" approach (you
fly the tasks on-line whenever you want) already used with success for our
Alpi 3 and Central Italy free Racing Servers. The competition features 5
different tasks to race and challenge the Mont Blanc's
beautiful surroundings. The first three pilots in the final ranking will
win some beautiful Full Ballast technical clothing! The entries to
the race closed on September 25th, we just have to wait a few days to see
who will be the winner.
West Alpi covers a 96 thousands sq. Km area, with
307 x 312 Km sides. Thanks to a new algorithm developed by Bluangel56, West
Alpi offers better details without affecting the FPS performance. 31 airports are included in the
scenery, including the french gliding capitals: Saint
Auban, St. Crépin,
Fayence, Sisteron, Gap...
The official release of West Alpi will be on October
1st, the day after the end of the race.
The scenery will be available HERE.
